Chryseia 2021 is a distinguished red wine from Portugal's Douro Valley, meticulously crafted by Prats & Symington. This vintage is a blend of 67% Touriga Nacional and 33% Touriga Franca, sourced from the esteemed Quinta de Roriz and Quinta da Perdiz estates, with contributions from the neighboring Quinta da Vila Velha. The 2021 growing season was notably cooler, resulting in a balanced ripening process and wines with excellent acidity and color. Harvesting commenced on September 17th with Touriga Nacional and concluded on September 26th with Touriga Franca. The wine was aged for 15 months in 400-liter French oak barrels.
