Castello D'Alba Reserva 2023 White Wine 75 Cl - Douro DOC

Castello D'Alba Reserva 2023 White is a distinguished white wine from Portugal's Douro region, produced by Rui Roboredo Madeira. This wine is crafted from a blend of indigenous grape varieties: Rabigato (40%), Viosinho (40%), and Códega do Larinho (20%). The grapes are sourced from high-altitude vineyards in the Douro Superior, where schist transitions to granite soils, imparting a mineral character to the wine. Fermentation is conducted with indigenous yeasts, with 20% of the must fermenting and aging in used French oak barrels with bâtonnage for four months, while the remaining 80% matures in stainless steel tanks.
