Syrah Apontador 2020 is a distinguished red wine from Quinta da Romaneira, located in Portugal's Douro Valley. Crafted exclusively from Syrah grapes cultivated in the Apontador parcel, this wine reflects the unique terroir of the region. The vineyard's east, southeast, and south-facing slopes, at altitudes between 217 and 248 meters, provide optimal conditions for Syrah cultivation. The wine is aged for one year in French oak barrels, with 65% new oak and 35% one-year-old barrels, enhancing its complexity and depth.
