Reserva began as an experiment in 1995, making Soalheiro one of the pioneers in blending Alvarinho with French oak. After years of refinement, the current style of Soalheiro Reserva 2022 was established in 2006. This wine captures the pure essence of Alvarinho, with the used French oak barrels enhancing rather than overpowering its unique characteristics. The subtle oak influence complements the aroma and flavor, adding structure and complexity while preserving the grape's distinct personality.
