Susana Esteban Special Edition 2018 Red 75 Cl - Alentejo DOC
Special Edition 2018 is the most personal and special red wine ever produced by Susana Esteban. From the outstanding 2018 harvest, she selected just 5 barrels from old vineyards in Serra de São Mamede at 700m altitude.
A blend of 60% Alicante Bouschet, 20% Touriga Nacional, and 20% traditional varieties, this wine was fermented in lagares and aged 3 years in French oak barrels before bottling in December 2021.
Outstanding aging potential.
Only 1470 bottles were produced, but 221 were lost in an accident, so only 1249 bottles exist.

Awards:
The nose impresses from the first moment with its intensity and peculiarity as a result of the combination of the aroma of Serra de São Mamede vineyards with Touriga Nacional and Alicante Bouschet which only in exceptional years like 2018 proves to be aromatic and subtle. In the mouth, it has an unusual harmony, with soft and elegant tannins, which gives it a unique complexity that is transmitted in the mouth where it is broad, deep, and mineral.
