Periquita Reserva 2021 Red is a wine from Portugal's Setúbal Peninsula, produced by José Maria da Fonseca. This wine is crafted from a blend of Castelão (54%), Touriga Nacional (28%), and Touriga Francesa (18%) grapes, sourced from sandy soils. Fermentation occurs over approximately seven days at 26ºC with full skin contact, followed by eight months of aging in new French and American oak barrels. Bottling took place in September 2022, with a total production of 1,000,000 liters.
