Quinta do Paral Vinhas Velhas 2019 Red is a distinguished red wine from Portugal's Alentejo region, meticulously crafted by Quinta do Paral. This wine is a blend of 50% Aragonez and 50% Tinta Grossa, sourced from 10 hectares of old vines in Vila de Frades, Vidigueira. The grapes undergo manual selection, followed by destemming and fermentation in traditional lagares with mechanical treading at controlled temperatures between 24-28ºC for 15 days. The wine is then aged for 18 months in French oak barrels, contributing to its complexity and aging potential.
